As part of the Health Tech Alliance’s Parliament & HealthTech 2023 series, we held a private Parliamentary roundtable in July. The roundtable focused on the use of robotics within the health system, the barriers facing adoption, and how this technology can support the NHS to overcome current and future challenges. Discussion centred on how innovative solutions and methods could enhance the use of robotic surgery within the health system.
From this discussion, we have produced a document summarising the core issues raised at the Roundtable regarding the use of robotics in the NHS, and concludes with an overview of solutions and recommendations highlighted during the discussion to drive efficiencies, resources and level of care.
