Following a consultation earlier this year, NICE has published an updated health technology evaluations manual, which describes the methods and processes, including expected timescales, that NICE follows when carrying out health technology evaluations. A summary of the consultation feedback and comments has also been published and can be accessed here. This new manual has been updated to align with the NICE HealthTech programme manual and sets out the foundations for the HealthTech programme following NICE’s transformation, and is the first step in NICE’s ongoing processes to set out in greater detail the processes and methods that will be used by the new NICE HealthTech programme.
