Our Chair, Dame Barbara Hakin, was pleased to contribute to Policy Exchange‘s timely and insightful report addressing some of the long-standing issues within general practice.
She said: “Digital healthcare will have a vital role to play, and whilst virtual wards, the NHS App and a wealth of high-quality solutions are already in use across the NHS today, there is an urgent need to improve the overall infrastructure. This report contains a series of excellent suggestions which I am sure will contribute to the thinking in NHS England’s Transformation Directorate as they look to streamline reimbursement and regulation and to accelerate the use of data.”
