Last week, the Health Tech Alliance hosted our second event in our Parliament & HealthTech event series – a Parliamentary roundtable exploring the barriers and route to adoption for robotics assisted surgery.
Thank you to our industry sponsors – CMR Surgical and Smith+Nephew – for sharing their experiences of being UK British businesses developing surgical assisted surgery to support the NHS achieve their target of transforming care, efficiency and improving patient outcomes.
It was great to have such a breadth of experience around the room and hear challenges and opportunities in all health organisations covering procurement, evidence gathering, the importance of considering the whole patient pathway and ‘roboticising data’ to monitor patients progress.
We will shortly be publishing a report covering the key discussion topics and recommendations established during this event. Keep your eyes peeled for this!
